Comedian AaronaTheVirgo, formerly known as “Aarona Browning” and “Aarona Lopez” began standup comedy in 2006 in Chicago, IL
In October 2006, she was featured as a “New Face” in “Jamie Foxx’s Laffapalooza” Comedy Festival in Atlanta, GA.
In 2010, she was featured on “Martin Lawrence First Amendment StandUp” on the STARZ network.
In 2015, she was a cast mate on “Nick Cannon’s Wild N Out” on MTV2.
She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and a BMI songwriter with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Aarona has toured the country performing standup comedy in 39 of 50 states in the US and 2 cities in the UK.
In 2021, she released her second comedy album “Living My Life Wrong”, a 48-track album available via livestream and partial digital copy.
Aarona accepted Jesus Christ as her savior in 1988 at five years old. Since then she has been singing in church and finding her lane in ministry. In 2018, she began a spiritual journey with God that led to her blending her comedy gifts and singing/songwriting gifts with her gifts from the Holy Spirit. This created #AaronaRemakes of her favorite negro spirituals and gospel songs via her "Jokes And Jams Podcast".
In 2023, she launched her "Truthalations Podcast" where she combines all of her gifts to present engaging messages about the gospel of Jesus Christ. These messages, which she affectionately calls "The Ghetto Gospel", are designed to reach members of Generation Z and people from disenfranchised communities.
